Enjoyed Not Endured

Sweet, sweet relief- I officially completed my Project Management certification. For the last nine months, my nights and weekends have been wrapped up in this bittersweet investment. It's equally surreal and wonderful to be on the other side of such an endeavor.

Doing something now for the sake of future Juliet isn't common practice for me. I tend to live my life by the famous quote "Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured" (Gordon B. Hinckley), a motto I've regurgitated many times as advice to loved ones. While this reverie of playfulness is worthwhile, it turns out I can also do hard things!

With this one success fully realized and Summer on the horizon...I now navigate back to my preoccupation with enjoyment. I'm looking forward to a trip to Bend in a few weeks, and so much more hiking and camping than my life has allowed these past few seasons (!!!)

Over the past couple weeks, I've embarked eastward to 'connect new dots' as Mark says, in search of glorious wild flower blooms and pockets of dispersed camping. In order of appearance below: Peshastin Pinnacles, Cashmere Canyons, Frenchman Coulee, and Whiskey Dick Wildlife Area.
